	Since 1983, Purakal Cylinders has been committed to providing our customers with the very best standard and custom air and hydraulic cylinders on the market. Located in Eugene, Oregon our engineering, manufacturing and sales staff meet and exceed customer needs and expectations with superb products delivered on a timely basis. From our inception our founder Tom Philip adopted our 'Quality First and Foremost' methodology and demanded we put forth exceptional efforts to produce the best possible products for our family of customers. This methodology, accepting the challenges of meeting our customers needs and a history of successful products have allowed Purakal Cylinders to grow from a three person machine shop to a current state of the art manufacturing facility. In November of 2005, this commitment to excellence continued when our Mori Seiki NH 6300 machining center was put into production. Our new machining center (one of only a few in the northwest) allows us to meet the most demanding needs of our customers in a timely manner. We are more than your cylinder and parts manufacturer we are a partner in finding solutions and manufacturing the products that meet your needs. Our technical staff, which includes a registered professional engineer, has more than one hundred years of combined experience in the design of cylinders for a variety of applications from hay balers to navigation locks. We continually upgrade our AutoCAD workstations in order to produce designs more rapidly and to assist our customers with DXF files. Our engineering software allows us to respond quickly to your technical and stress analysis questions. With a wide range of experience from job shops to aerospace, our manufacturing staff has the knowledge and background to produce components to satisfy customer requirements whether it be low cycle off road equipment or off shore equipment to meet ABS or USCG specifications.
